Dr. Ian Uber is a skilled eye physician and surgeon from Western Pennsylvania. After graduating with merit from the United States Naval Academy, Dr. Uber earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed a transitional year internship at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, and then went to flight school at Naval Air Station, Pensacola. He then served as a flight surgeon for Marine Attack Squadron 542 and Marine Attack Training Squadron 203 at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. Dr. Uber completed a residency in ophthalmology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, in Bethesda, MD, where he served as the chief resident for the final year of his residency. Dr. Uber is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Society of Military Ophthalmologists.
